Covid-19 Safety With “New Normal” Policies

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures for you, our staff, and all of our dance families. Our number one priority is to keep all dancers and staff safe at all times.

Pickup and Drop-Off

Dancers will enter at the front entrance and exit out the back door in the back-parking lot. Parents will drop off their dancers in the front and drive them around to the back-parking lot for pickup.

New Standard Procedure

Please have your dancer arrive 5 to 10 minutes before class time and wait at the front porch or on the front sidewalk while physical distancing. A staff member will admit the dancer into the building. Dancers will have their temperature taken upon entering the building and will be given hand sanitizer at this time and again at dismissal time.

Social Distancing

Once entering the classroom, dancers will be directed to stand in the 6’x6’ grid box that will allow for social distancing. Dancers will stay inside this grid box for the duration of the class and will practice all protocols for practicing across the floor. Our “Dancing Squares” are color-coded on the floor and the staff has some games planned to help our dancers get acquainted with how we can use our space in a fun way.

We have lots of patience ready for our new learning process, especially for our youngest dancers.

Waiting Areas Are Closed

Parents and siblings are asked to wait in their cars. Parents will be able to watch their child’s dance class live-streamed from their devices and cellphones.

More Safety Guidelines

  • The drinking fountain is closed but dancers may bring a personal water bottle from home.
  • The staff disinfects surfaces including mopping the floor after each class and at the end of the day.
  • Space will be limited in the studio. We will continue to offer virtual options for all of our classes.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we navigate through these unusual times.
